Simone de Beauvoir was a French writer, philosopher, and feminist theorist, widely recognized for her work on existentialism and feminist philosophy.
Through her book The Second Sex, Beauvoir critically examined gender, freedom and oppression, arguing that femininity is a social construct and questioning traditional notions of women. 
Beauvoir's incisive critiques and philosophical ideas had inspired different generations to question and redefine their social roles, criticizing stereotypes 
that limit women to menial tasks and functions.

Judy Kaufmann is a Barcelona based illustrator who works for publishing houses, advertising and the press. This collection of enamel pins inspired by classic and modern books is her most personal work.
